Yalama Kuntal (29) was admitted to the Lokmanya Hospital, last Thursday, when she started complaining of severe backaches.
Yalama's brother-in-law, Shailu Kuntal vouches that she was fine one hour before she was dead. "We went to her room, spoke to her around at around 6 pm." Shailu told MiD DAY that in less than 15 minutes of the examination, they were told that she had passed away. "When we asked to speak to the doctor, we were not allowed," he added.
Family members started to damage the windows and glass in the door at around 8 pm.
Authorities called in the Chinchwad police. At around 9 pm, the body was shifted to YCM Hospital for postmortem.
