One more person yesterday succumbed to injuries suffered in the Swargate bus rampage of January 25. The deceased man was identified as Changdev Pandharinath Bhandwalkar (61), a resident of Manikbaug, Sinhgad Road.
One more person yesterday succumbed to injuries suffered in the Swargate bus rampage of January 25. The deceased man was identified as Changdev Pandharinath Bhandwalkar (61), a resident of Manikbaug, Sinhgad Road.
The cause of death was said to be complications due to head injury. Initially admitted to Sassoon General Hospital, Bhandwalkar had been shifted to Ruby hospital.
The death toll in the case mounted to nine with Bhandwalkar's death. Police Inspector Ram Pathare of Swargate police station said: "Bhandwalkar was mowed down by the bus driven by Santosh Mane."
