During the inauguration of the International Conference on Neuroscientific Revolution in Lonavala yesterday, Prof Meher Master-Moss, president of the Zoroastrian College in Mumbai, urged a group of scholars to invest time and energy to enhance their spiritual insights that could be used for the progress of society.

During the inauguration of the International Conference on Neuroscientific Revolution in Lonavala yesterday, Prof Meher Master-Moss, president of the Zoroastrian College in Mumbai, urged a group of scholars to invest time and energy to enhance their spiritual insights that could be used for the progress of society.






Dr Umesh Keskar, registrar of Tilak Maharashtra University, reminded the audience that Vedic society cared for the welfare of the people. "While respecting the Vedic religion, we need to reinterpret it to take care of the modern sensibilities," he said.

Prof Job Kozhamthadam, founder director of Indian Institute of Science and Religion, Pune, gave a lecture on 'Human Soul in the World of Science The Neuroscientific Revolution and the Problem of the Soul'.

It was the 8th conference of its kind about science and religion where more than 150 scientists, scholars, philosophers and theologians gathered to critique each other with the spirit of humility and openness.
