The Education Promotion Society for Indiau00a0(EPSI) held a national conference on the topic "Higher Education ufffd The Quality Paradigm" on January 23 at the Nehru Centre in Mumbai. The event was attended by a cross-section of renowned academicians, policy-makers and heads of educational institutions.

This was the third in the series of conferences on this topic after Delhi and Chennai. The conference in Mumbai was held in association with the Consortium of Management Education. After Mumbai this conference will be held in Kolkata and Chandigarh before culminating in a meeting in Delhi in April. The main purpose of this conference is to be a bridge between government agencies and the education sector so that a policy framework can be made in terms of charting the road ahead.
