Special MCOCA court on Wednesday framed charges against Chhota Rajan in the mid-day investigation editor J dey murder case.

The special MCOCA court judge S S Adkar framed charges via video conferencing. He told Rajan the charges against him are conspiracy, murder and abetment of Indian Penal Code along with various section of Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
Rajan declared not guilty when judge asked him about his crime. The judge then gave next date September 7, to start the trial.
CBI filed a chargesheet, early this month against Rajan in the same court alleging that Rajan was the mastermind behind J Dey murder as he was not happy being called 'chindi'.
