Meerut: Deputy Director General of All India Radio Neeraj Goel died today after the cycle he was riding was hit by a car here, police said.
The incident occurred in the evening. The car driver managed to flee after the incident, they said. Goel, 46, was an IBES officer.
"Goel was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead on arrival," SHO of Kanker Khera police station Yadram Singh said.
"The body has been sent for post-mortem and a hunt is on for the car driver", he added.
