Twice a week, you can even dig into a Veg Kebab and round off your meal with a healthy dessert. This would either be a seasonal Carrot Halwa or an Organic Millet Kheer." A healthy sweet rush
Bandra-based Divya Ranglani and her sister-in-law set out on a quest to ensure their kids ate healthy. However, this wasn't easy, as they would crave for junk food, which was readily available. So, the duo joined forces and created dishes that were healthy and would appeal to their kids. Divya says, "My sister-in-law and I are passionate about cooking and have read many books on the subject. It was during one such chat with a family friend, who is a trained Le Cordon Bleu chef that we discovered how nature has blessed us with many natural sweeteners. It's possible to make healthy food without using artificial sweeteners, preservatives, refined flour and saturated fats."

So, after a series of trials and experiments that had family members and friends eating out of their hands, Divya and her sister-in-law decided set up shop from her Bandra residence, eight months ago. She adds, "My cakes are healthy because I use natural sweeteners including dates and fruits like blueberries, pears and oranges. I include oatmeal and whole wheat flour as its rich in fibre. It adds texture to my cakes and since they contain no saturated fats, you can gorge on them minus the guilt."
Some of Divya's more popular combinations contain vegetables. These include Pumpkin and Choco Chips cake, Carrot Zucchini, Soya Oatmeal, Sweet Potato Cake and Muesli Cake.
