Think infinite skies, the sun, woods, earth and water. Now, think of a 400 square feet room that fits it all! The Nature's Co, a spanking new wellness store in South Delhi, may appear to be a blink-and-miss cubby hole at first, but one step inside, and you'd know how much potential this spoil-space has. We stopped over to pay a visit, and returned with mixed reactions.
Five hive: The outlet is themed on the five basic elements that account for all life, and how each of these can beautify different personality types. For instance, if fiery is what describes you best, the sun counter is where you should be. If you're clueless about what element suits you, the store's north zone manager, Rashmi Sarda, is happy to help with a 'good-natured' word or two. "We've taken cue from the purest substances on earth, so you know how pure's the beauty they lend," she smiled as we went about trying the au naturel testers. The pretty Grecian walls, tasteful lighting, soothing music and soft fragrances make it to our good books.
Pamper hampers: The five bath and spa product categories available here are called Aquaspark (water-inspired), Atmospure (highly oxygenating), Earthborne (mud-based), Starrize (sunny) and Foressence (from the forests). They include vegan, PETA testified body lotions, shampoos and creams, body butters,u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0 moisturisers, face washes, lip balms et al, some sourced from Ayurveda, and others from locally unavailable imported extracts. We found the DIY test-tube bath salts (Rs 325 for 75 gms), coffee face scrub (Rs 525) and spearmint body wash (Rs 485) the most interesting.
Aur maangta: The good thing is that the stuff doesn't cost a bomb, and feels as refreshing as it's promised to be. The bad thingu00a0the spa services are limited, and cramped into a little corner. Those looking to indulge would be disappointed at the not-so-exotic relaxation and reflexology options laid out on a wooden hand-board, and offered complimentarily only to product customers. Nevertheless, go meet the spa-tans, they're still worth it.
