Dehradun: A two-year-old elephant calf found unconscious from Shyampur range of Haridwar district died during treatment, forest department sources said here today.
Suffering from cold and pneumonia, the elephant calf found unconscious near a temple by forest guards was admitted to Chidiyapur rescue centre where it died late on Sunday night, they said.
It was buried after a post mortem yesterday, they said.
