The 'splendour balls' obsession of renowned artist Fornasetti comes ringing your doorbell

Bold graphic art combined with fine design forms is what Piero Fornasetti, a Milan painter, sculptor and interior decorator is revered for. His Italian design house is known for their one of its kind furniture pieces, which now can be seen at the 'Furniture a Piece of Art'- a three-day exhibition. Graphic details: The exhibition will showcase Fornasetti's signature looks that range from architecturally challenged cabinets to custom-made lateral furniture. There're stools, coasters, cabinet, mugs, lamp and magazine racks. "The brand is renowned for black and white products with a tint of yellows and reds and the graphics are basically influenced from the Roman era," reveals CEO, Marigold Fine Art, the organisers of the show. On included in the show are art works of great masters like Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso and Lorenzo Quinn and works by well known European artists like David Kravoc and Frank Tordjmann.


Mix and match: Started in 1950's by Piero Fornasetti, a Milan painter, sculptor and interior decorator, the brand follows a tradition of reviving popular old pieces and creating new ones. "We've collaborated with Fornasetti because his creation are not only artistic but fun and with a twist. The market here is emerging because people no more want a dull home. Simplicity is being replaced by contemporary ones," adds Gaurav, whose claim comes true when you see the products.

Know Fornasetti
Piero Fornasetti (1913-1988)
was a Milan-based painter, a sculptor and an interior decorator. He has created more than 11,000 items with sceneries and customs. After his death, his son Barnaba is continuing his workshop tradition where he makes editions, invents and revives the old ones.
