Why would a restaurant that serves sixty wine variants calls itself China Garden and not Wine Garden? Read on to find out

Off late a variety of cuisines like Thai, Mongolian and Austrian have forayed into the Capital, but none seems to enjoy the same popularity as that of Chinese. A new eatery from the 'land of cheap mobiles' has opened its doors for the food connoisseurs, and we were the first few visitors to have tasted their preparations and walk out with finger-licking experience.

De de dil China town mein: The soothing interiors of the place remind
you of an old word Chinese charm

Go set go
The menu is a mixed bag ofu00a0 interesting dishes like the one we started withu00a0-- pekin vegetable, a healthy mix of roasted crispy vegetables served with handmade pancakes, plum sauce and shredded salad. Good that we skipped regular soups and drinks and chose this tantalising but oily preparation.u00a0 A right dose of corn and cheese on a fried piece of toast makes 'corn on toast,' an apt successor to the earlier dish. As you keep munching and crunching, spare a few minutes to spot a giant Buddha and 156 types of teapots, encapsulated in them the tales of several Chinese dynasties.

Little wine tow
The first round of starters gave way tou00a0 an even better main course. The hakka French beans, tasted much like the regular bean at home saut ufffded with garlic and green chillies.
However, crispy lotus stem cooked in traditional Szechwan style was a sweet surprise. Other dishes served to us were sapu suek cham (baby corn and assorted vegetables served under a boiling flame) and mock meat (tasted like soya chunks).

Don't skip the amazing non vegetarian section that rides high on teppan yaki prawns, which is shelled prawns marinated in special herbs and Chinese wine. Lobster lovers must try butter chilly garlic lobster cooked in traditional butter garlic paste. Put a full stop to the evening with the time-tested chocolate mousse. The wine lounge deserves a special mention. We recommendu00a0 Villajolanda Tinot Grigio (Italian), Taylors Promised Land Range (Crouchan Riesling), Delocah Merlot (California) and Sauternes Calvet Blance (French) among many others.u00a0 And surely it'll a be au00a0 filling experience for you.
