Fire breaks out at Bamboo Bazar

A fire broke out at Bamboo Bazar near KR Market at 6.15 this morning. Eight to ten shops including car and bike garages were gutted and the total loss has been estimated at Rs 20-25 lakh.
Fire brigade officials say ten fire engines are still trying to extinguish the fire at the spot. The cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet. However, the officials say that the accident may have occured from a cigarette butt oru00a0short circuit of electricity.
