After being badly affected by fog for over a week, the flight operations at the Indira Gandhi International airport here were normal on Wednesday.

Almost all flights were operating as per their schedule due to clear weather, sources at the airport said.

The general visibility remained above 1,000 metres while the runway visibility was more than 2,000 metres since last night, they added.

Some morning flights to Kolkata were delayed due to zero visibility at the airport there. Yesterday, about 100 flights were delayed and 18 cancelled due to bad weather conditions at the IGI airport.

The air travellers had some tough times since last Monday as over 700 flights were delayed and around 125 cancelled due to dense fog that enveloped the national capital almost every alternate day.
