At this eco-friendly bazaar, you can choose from fridges that don't run on electricity to stationery made from banana fibre, while stopping in between for a pedicure or a workshop on animal bonding
Fridges that runs without electricity, organic cotton T-shirts, solar products, organic jams, wooden handicrafts and banana fibre stationery are just some of the products you can expect to find at The Vishwa Show, 2010.
"Eco-lovers are in for a treat as they will find a variety of green options under one roof without having to traipse all over the city," says Yogendra Vora, convenor of the show. 
Bird houses will be on sale
The aim behind The Vishwa Show, now in its second year, was to propagate eco-friendliness as a way of life. Products at the show range from home d ufffdcor and gifting options, to culinary solutions and wellness alternatives. This year's line-up will include participation from Stylebuds and Doodle Factory, OsuM, Mapro Foods, Sahara and Advitya Kala Sangam Trust.
"The participants are a mix of rural and urban people from all over the country. We have something for everyone," says Yogendra.There will be free workshops and talks, including one on animal bonding where participants will get to handle snakes, rabbits, and turtles, and another on medicinal plants.
There is also a special interaction area for people to showcase their unique innovations and swap stories of their attempts at growing a green thumb.
The Metta Foot Spa will offer foot massages and pedicures. Shoppers can also meet members of the Cycle Chalao Andolan, a group that spreads awareness on bicycle riding, including how it helps reduce vehicular pollution.
If art is a passion, then hone your creative side with expert guidance from Warli artist and caricaturist Satish Mirashi, who will teach you how to do portraits.
Architects will display eco-friendly honeycomb models of houses, and furniture made from recycled paper.
Shoppers, who are worried about the disappearance of sparrows due to the cutting of trees, can buy bird houses from Sparrow's Shelter and provide a roof to our winged friends.
On the final day, there will be a screening of documentaries on topics including climate change to seeking eco-friendly solutions for the planet.
