A Hizbul Mujahideen militant was arrested by security forces from a border village near the Line of Control in Akhnoor tehsil of Jammu district.
On a tip off, security forces tracked down the militant Mohammad Israil in a house in Garkhal border village last night, officials said on Wednesday.
Israil had escaped from an encounter in Gandoh belt of Doda district last week and had taken shelter at his relative's house in the border belt.
