Former CM Kumaraswamy's supporters organise Sudarshana homa at Narayana temple to eradicate negative energy and provide him strength to become the chief minister once again

The state politics drama reached its ultimate peak last night when the JD (S) members organised a Sudarshana homa (meant for success in an undertaking) to provide strength to their leader H D Kumaraswamy.
Over 200 party workers gathered at Narayana temple in Rajaji Nagar and prayed to God the entire night. The homa started from 9 pm and continued till 5 am.

The party workers believe that the homa will give extreme power to beat others' views about Kumaraswamy.
The workers recited mantras in the name of God Sudarshana.

They also criticised B S Yeddyurappa government and they believe that Yeddyurappa will permanently be out after the majority session.

State Organising Secretary M R Shashikumar who also participated in this homa, told MiD DAY, "Now H D Kumaraswamy is the enemy of many people and they have planned to keep him away from active politics. We want to see him in the chief minister's post and thus to beat others' views about him, we conducted this homa. We believe this homa will give sufficient strength to the former chief minister and ensure a good future."
Many women workers also participated and are confident to win the majority.

A party worker B S Shailajamma, said, "This is an ancient homa which several people offer in order to protect their loved ones. We want to keep our leader in a good position and that is why we are offering these prayers it in the name of Kumaraswamy."

What is Homa?

Homa (also known as homam or havan) is a Sanskrit word which refers to any ritual in which making offerings into a consecrated fire is the primary action. The ancient homa is mainly conducted to kill other people's envy on the beloved person.
