In discomforting comments for BJP, estranged JD-U leader George Fernandes today said he does not believe Varun Gandhi's version that the CD containing his hate speech was doctored.
"I do not believe that it was not his voice," Fernandes told PTI when asked to comment on Gandhi saying that his speech in Pilibhit, being shown on TV channels, was doctored and it had a different voice.
Asked whether he has any suggestion for Gandhi, Fernandes said: "I don't like anything of that (Gandhi) family. You don't know what I have gone through due to this family." They are very good at saying something, doing something and then saying that they did not say it or they did not do it, he added. When reminded that Varun Gandhi is in BJP, Fernandes said he holds such view against "the whole family."
He also asked the Centre to take steps to make public about the "black money" deposited in foreign banks including Swiss banks. He, however, said: "Those with vested interests won't allow it to happen."
