Senior BJP leader LK Advani on Monday said invoking of stringent NSA against the party's Pilibhit candidate Varun Gandhi was nothing but a political conspiracy.
"It is a conspiracy by the Uttar Pradesh government," Advani told reporters without elaborating much when asked to comment on Varun being charged under the NSA.
The Uttar Pradesh government had last night slapped NSA against Varun for his alleged hate speech in Pilibhit early this month. Advani, who was here in connection with an election meeting, said the BJP-led NDA was united with all its allies backing the combine.
