A speeding Blueline bus crushed two men to death after they fell from their scooter near the Moolchand Hospital in south Delhi on Wednesday.
The incident was reported around 9 am when the bus route no. 507 hit three people riding on a scooter were hit from behind. The three were immediately rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre, but two were declared brought dead by the doctors. And the third person was released after primary treatment.
The deceased were later identified as Puran, 23, and Dinesh, 18, who are relatives to Lakshmi Narayan, the survivor.
According to the police, the trios used to work together in the parking lot of INA market and were going for work at the time of incident. The Blueline bus was going to Munirka from Okhla side and was carrying a lot of passengers due to the morning rush.
An FIR has been registered against the driver who fled from the spot. The dead body of the deceased has been sent for post mortem.
