Even though the victim's wife intervened and tried to stop Singh, he kept on beating him and manhandled the wife too.

"There was a traffic jam in Saket area at night and cars were moving at a snail's pace. It was then that the Korean couple was trying to cross the road and one of them touched the car inadvertently," a senior police officer stated.
Sources said that the accused has been placed in preventive detention by the Saket police. As the Korean nationals had to leave for Chennai on Sunday morning cops couldn't register an FIR. "Kin told us that he has to leave for Chennai the next morning and didn't want any stringent legal action against Singh. Therefore he was just taken into custody under preventive detention act and was later let off," the police officer said.
Kin works with a Korean company based in Noida and keeps on going for tours to other states. Singh, on the other hand is a resident of Aya Nagar area of south Delhi and works as a property dealer."The Korean couple was not at fault at all and should have been booked for his indecency but as Kin asked us not to take stringent legal action we couldn't book him," senior police officers said.u00a0
Singh, however, was warned by Saket cops not to repeat his act and the matter is being probed. "As it concerns foreign nationals, we have to take proper steps to prevent it," police officers said.u00a0u00a0
