Police file case under Arms Act

A 44-year-old man was caught by CISF personnel at Tilak Nagar Metro Station when a countrymade pistol was found inside his bag.

A case has been filed against him under the Arms Act. The accused has been identified as Sardar Prabhu Singh a native of Etah in UP.

"He came to the Metro station at around 10 pm. He left his bag at the scanner where the gun was detected.

He was then detained and interrogated. He could not or did not give us any information about the pistol. He was first questioned by CISF personnel and then finally handed over to us," said a police officer.
