A Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL) pillar on CMH Road in Indiranagar caught fire yesterday evening. Rubber groves inside the pillar allegedly caught fire during welding.u00a0 As many four fire tenders were pressed into service to put out the fire.u00a0
The BMRCL officials said there were no casualities and the construction work will not be stopped.
