Hyderabad: A BSF personnel was killed and 11 others were injured when their vehicle turned turtle in Andhra Pradesh's Vizianagaram district in the wee hours today.

The accident occurred at around 5.30 AM when the vehicle carrying BSF personnel from Koraput to Vizianagaram overturned near Bondapalli in the district, resulting in injuries to 12 occupants, police said.
One of the personnel, Muninder Kumar (45) from Uttar Pradesh, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital while undergoing treatment, a police official said.
The BSF personnel were on their way to be deployed as part of bandobust duty in view of protests over state division in Seemandhra's Vizianagaram district, police said.
The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital, they said, adding that investigations were on.
