Nashik: 46 Home Guards heading for poll duty injured in road mishap

As many as 46 Home Guards going on election duty were injured when their bus collided with a tanker on Mumbai-Agra National Highway near Chandwad tehsil of Nashik, police said today

The mishap occurred yesterday at Rahud ghat on the national highway when the personnel were proceeding in a private bus to Madhya Pradesh where Assembly elections are to be held next week.

The injured were admitted to a rural hospital at Chandwad, police added.
