There was no let up today from scorching heat in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. Bramhapuri town recorded the highest temperature 47.6 degrees Celsius.

It was followed by Chandrapur (47 degrees) and neighbouring Wardha (46.9 degrees).

Nagpur recorded 46.6 degrees Celsius followed by Amravati 44.6, Akola 44.5, Yavatmal 43.2 and Washim 42.2 degrees Celsius, the Met department said. u00a0
