Sarronwala said the group also provides transportation to students living in far-flungu00a0 areas.

Besides organising annual medical check-ups for students, the group also aims at providing 2,000
scholarships.

Also, in a bid to make kids come to school, the group introduced a breakfast scheme where kids are served nutritious meal.

Bharat Sarronwala, a member of the group, said, "As kids used to come in only for the midday meal, the attendance in schools was quite poor.

Thus, we thought of providing them with breakfast so that they spend their entire day in the school."

The group is also working in the field of rural development.

They have adopted Sonnahallipura, a village in Hoskote, and are working towards solving the water crises faced by villagers. They have selected a group of farmers to harvest the rainwater.

Although the group is short-staffed, it's high on energy and committed to its goal of making the city a better place to live in.
