The alleged killer, whose sketch was released, is in the age group of 20 to 25 years and of medium built, with a height of 5.5 feet.
Dey, who headed the crime bureau in Mid-day, a city tabloid, was shot dead by four unidentified gunmen at Hiranandani complex in suburban Powai on June 11.
Police are probing whether underworld had a hand in the firing.
