In the wake of the call for Bharat Bandh today by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and alliance parties against the recent petrol price hike, the district administration has clamped prohibitory orders amidst apprehensions that some groups may attempt to hamper the law and order situation in the city, by indulging in stone pelting and ransacking public property.

District Collector Vikas Deshmukh issued directions to the concerned officials and asked them to maintain law and order in the city during the bandh.u00a0u00a0
