Chaos broke out on Tuesday as locals fought for Khatiyas (wooden cots) after Rahul Gandhi's Khat Sabha ended in Deoria.

There was chaos as scores of villagers, youths, women and elderly men all alike pounced on the cots soon after Gandhi's speech ended and started taking them away to their houses. No one stopped them.
The cots was bought by the Congress for Rahul Gandhi's 'khat chaupal' as he started a 2,500-km Yatra in Uttar Pradesh, where assembly elections will be held next year.
