SSLC exams to begin tomorrow

About 8.58 lakh students will take SSLC examination from Monday. The exams will be
held at 2,762 centres in the state, including 1,089 in Bangalore.

4.64 lakh boys and 3.94 lakh girls will appear. Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board has earmarked a 200-metre radius from the centres as prohibited area. The board has directed officials to make sure that no photostat shops functioning near the exam centres.

Over 25,000 private candidates will write the exam at the district headquarters.

This year, there is special provision for dyslexic students. After getting a certificate from NIMHANS, they are permitted to use a simple calculator.
