Nearly 25 kg of explosives were seized during a special drive against Maoists at Parsokhad village in Garwah district, a senior police officer said today.
The explosives were found stacked in small containers in a house of Gopal Yadav during a joint operation by para-military forces and the district police, according to Superintendent of Police Saket Kumar Singh.
Singh said the house was abandoned and Yadav had been missing for the last several months, he said, adding no one was arrested
