Sunset for Yediyurappa?

CM's astrologer predicts downfall as sun in his zodiac 'not favourable'

Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa's astrologer has bad news for him. The chief minister's fallout with the powerful Reddy brothers of Bellary, who want a change in the state leadership, may cost him his chair.

A storm is currently brewing in the ruling BJP in the state. Karunakara and Janardana Reddy are said to be the leading figures in a rebellion building against the chief minister.

And Yediyurappa's astrologer Bhanu Prakash Sharma has predicted the chief minister's downfall, as the motion of celestial bodies in his zodiac is likely to bring bad luck.

"During a recent trip to the temples, Sharma warned the CM of tumult within the party," a family source said.

Warned of trouble
It seems Yediyurappa was warned of dissidence some four days ago.

Sharma has been performing rituals for the family since 2007, including on the day Yediyurappa was sworn in as chief minister after the 2008 assembly election.

He had recently cautioned B Y Raghavendra, the CM's elder son and member of Parliament from Shimoga on the probable ill luck in store for his father. "He met me in Kollur and I predicted there would be trouble in the party," Sharma said.

Stars speak
The sun entered Yediyurappa's Vrischika rashi on November 10, which could lead to his downfall. Sthana Chyuthi loss of power is another prediction by Sharma, who said Yediyurappa will face rebellion from his colleagues.

Sharma, however, has a solution. By performing the ritual of Adithya Hridaya Parayana for the sun god 1,280 times, which will take three days, may keep bad luck at bay.

"His condition will worsen if preventive measures are not taken," said Sharma.
