A techie lost his wallet and mobile phone as he kept his car window open.

Siddarth Singh Rathod, a techie from Infosys, was at the Sony World junction when a young man approached him, advised him to drive carefully and vanished. "I soon realised that my mobile phone and wallet containing Rs 1,000, driving licence, credit, debit and PAN cards were missing. The youth had diverted my attention while his associates had picked up the valuables," Rathod said.

Koramangala police who have taken up the case said muggers are adopting different methods to rob people, especially the young working class.

Due to increased robbery and mugging, police have intensified patrolling in Madivala, Koramangala and Electronic City.
