Three flights diverted to Bangalore due to heavy fog

Three flights from the Gulf sector to Chennai were diverted to Bangalore early Friday morning due to heavy fog, airport sources said.

The flights from Sharjah, Dubai and Qatar were scheduled to arrive here at 3.15 am, 3.50 am and 4.05 am, they said. The flights returned to Chennai at around 7.30 am after the weather conditions improved.
