Sitapur (UP): Two children were found dead near a pond in in Dilpatipur village in Pisavan area in Sitapur, police said on Friday.
Cousins Alok (5) and Nitin (7) had gone out to play but did not return home. Their bodies were found on Thursday evening near the pond.
The cause of their death has not been ascertained. An FIR has been registered in this regard and police is probing the matter.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem.
