This incident came to light after the video was circulated on WhatsApp. The pride, including two cubs, was seen near a residential area of Junagadh town, around 300 km from Ahmedabad.
The Gir sanctuary has the highest population of Asiatic lions but it uncommon for them to venture into these areas.
