"Earlier, I used to search for art trends in films, magazines and posters, but now my wife has become the primary source of my inspiration.

Another participant, Satadru Sovan, reveals that his mixed media print, titled Swaying Her Way, is inspired by cyberspace, and uses motifs from Orkut, Facebook and other social networking sites.

"It's mystery that makes women gorgeous, like the ones who peep out from their well-draped veils.

The navel, legs and eyes are some of the other enchanting parts of a lady's form: the ones that make you fantasise, even on canvas," smiles Dilip.

Another work in the series, called Beauty, shows a feminine figure splashed in green, white and yellow, a symbol of the many colours she needs to paint herself in, to survive the world.
