Hyderabad: A Manila-bound flight from Dubai was diverted to the airport here after a woman delivered a baby girl mid-air.
The Cebu Pacific Air flight was diverted to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport due to a medical emergency on August 14, airport sources said.
"The woman, a Philippines national, delivered the baby on board. The flight was diverted due to medical emergency on board," sources said.
After landing, the woman and her baby were shifted to a city-based private hospital, airport and hospital sources said. The condition of the baby is stated to be serious and doctors are monitoring her, they added.
