A 20-year-old newly married woman was strangulated to death by some unknown persons in Dombivili, police said today.

Police inspector Indrajit Karle of Manpada police said it was last night when the victim's husband returned home from work that he found his wife lying dead.
The deceased, a resident of Madhur Society in Lodha Heaven housing complex, Sonali Lalmohan Mahiti, was found lying dead in the house.
She was strangulated with her chunri, they said.
A complaint by her husband also said that cash of Rs 13,500 besides a laptop and mobile was stolen by killers.
Police have registered a case under sections 302 and 382 of IPC against unknown killers, police added.u00a0
