A one-of-a-kind citizen journalism workshop will be conducted at the Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management, Juhu.

The three-day workshop beginning from April 5 has been organised by the JM Foundation for Excellence in Journalism.

The sessions will see eminent experts like police officers, consumer and RTI activists addressing participants.


The workshop will teach and mentor participants on RTI (Right to Information), news gathering, verification of information, basic writing skills, consumer laws, police laws, press laws and media ethics.



The registration fee for participation is Rs 1,250 per person for students and senior citizens, and Rs 3,000 per person for others. There is a special group discount of Rs 500.
