Youth arrested in pal's murder case

The Hinjewadi police arrested a youth last night in connection with the alleged murder of 19-year-old Wakad resident Manoj Baburao Kalate. API SG Kale arrested Vikas Alande (19) around 11.30 pm on suspicion of aiding their mutual friend Satyavan Sonkamble in Kalate's murder.
According to initial information given by Alande, both of them had gone towards Talegaon-Dabhade to have dinner and had not returned till late. The officials from Hinjewadi police station are also looking for the woman who was allegedly with Sonkamble and Kalte that night.
Police Inspector N S Nyahalde from the Paud police station said, "Manoj was to be picked up by Vikas Alande, after meeting Satyavan. When Vikas came back, he did not find Manoj and informed the family. They called Satyavan, who said he would come in some time but did not." Satyavan is yet to be arrested.
