Amid rising Covid-19 cases across the country, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has tested positive for coronavirus. The BJP MP took to the social media site Twitter to share the news and said he has mild symptoms and is under home quarantine.
The veteran BJP leader wrote, "I have tested positive for Corona today with mild symptoms. I am under home quarantine. I request everyone who have recently come in my contact to isolate themselves and get tested (sic)."

Earlier, on January 9, BJP MP from Uttar Pradesh Varun Gandhi, too, had tested positive for Covid-19.
