Amitabh Bachchan and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar attended the 44th IAA World Congress at Grand Hyatt in Kochi on Wednesday.
Srinivasan K Swamy, chairman and MD of RK Swamy BBDO Pvt Ltd; Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Pradeep Guha were also present at the event.
During his speech, Bachchan highlighted that India is not a country of snake charmers or Kamasutra anymore. It is known for engineers, doctors, technology and more.
He also pointed out that a customer's hard earned money is dharma and his dharma is to not endorse tobacco and alcohol products.
Sri Sri Ravi Shanker in his motivational speech at the inaugural session of the Global Summit of the International Advertising Association (IAA) at the Lulu Bolgatty Convention Centre in Kochi said that God himself advertises to make his presence felt and God has sent so many prophets to convey his presence.
He added that we all come from different cultures, practices, customs and languages but our dharma is our humanism. He also said that social media affects the personality of children.
