Just days after the story of a new-born girl lying unwanted in a Jodhpur hospital as two couples fight for the custody of a boy instead made national headlines, two more baby girls have been found abandoned in Madhya Pradesh and Noida. A three-year-old girl, Anita, suffering from severe malnourishment, was admitted to the Jhabua district hospital in Madhya Pradesh for treatment. Her parents, however, soon gave up hope and left in search of work. On Tuesday evening, Anita's grandmother, who had stayed back in the hospital, too abandoned her. Video courtesy: NDTV
