Amidst speculation of lowering interest rates RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan on Friday declared that interest rates shall remain static. Rajan also cited RBI initiatives towards sustainable growth and underscored that creating conducive environment for business is the need of the hour instead of looking for core competencies.
