Khalistani sympathiser Amritpal Singh's uncle, close aide surrender before Punjab Police

Punjab Police launched a massive crackdown against pro-khalistani sympathiser Amritpal Singh and his aids. Total of 112 arrests have been made in the case so far, as 34 were arrested on March 19. In a major development, Amritpal Singh`s uncle, close aide surrendered before Punjab Police. Govt launched operations against ‘Waris Punjab De’ and suspended mobile internet services in Punjab. Several others including Amritpal Singh are on the run, a massive manhunt has been launched to nab them. Central intelligence agencies are also keeping a close watch on Punjab Police’s operations. Punjab govt had sought several companies of Paramilitary forces to maintain law and order in the state. Amritpal Singh has been in the eye of the storm ever since the Ajnala incident sent shockwaves across Punjab.
