Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 6, addressed a rally in West Bengal’s Barasat. PM Modi during his address trained guns at the Mamata Banerjee led TMC government in West Bengal over Sandeshkhali incidents and alleged atrocities against the women. "TMC govt can never provide protection to women. Whereas, the BJP govt has decided to award life imprisonment for heinous crimes like rape. The women of Bengal have come out to destroy the ‘Gunda Raaj’ in Bengal… For easy registration of women`s complaints, we have arranged for a `Women Helpine`, but the TMC govt is not letting it operate in West Bengal. This TMC govt can never work for the welfare of women,” said PM Modi
