During his address to the special parliamentary session in Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Modi bid farewell to the old parliament building. In his speech, PM Modi recalled iconic speeches of Pandit Nehru, `At the stroke of the midnight hour`, to Atal Bihari Vajpayees`, Sarkarein aayegi-jaayegi, partiyan banegi-bigdegi, lekin ye desh rehna chahiye`. PM Modi also recalled the contributions made by several leaders in the progress of the nation and added that it will keep inspiring us as we transition to the new parliament building.
