When I was playing the character Yuvraj in the serial Betiyan, where the needs of a girl were neglected to ensure that a boy is comfortable, I was hurt. I realised how difficult it is for girls to live without parents and that's when I decided to support an NGO. It has now been over three years since I have been supportingu00a0 Muskaan, an organisation that encourages people to adopt girl children.

It is great how NGOs work selflessly for others. With our current lifestyle, we mayu00a0 not find time to interact with underprivileged kids, but the least we can do is render financial support. I know many people who support the education of five or six children and this has changed their destiny. If even one girl child is adopted after people read this, I will have achieved my purpose.
