This is in response to article published in MiD DAY 'Honest cabbie gives Harvard boy a holiday he will never forget.' This incident goes to prove that Mumbai rocks. Cab driver Mushtaq Ahmed Khan has made Mumbaikars proud. Our corrupt politicians should take a cue from honest citizens.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0
I admire the spirit of Mumbai. Hats off to the taxi driver for taking the trouble to return valuables to the Harvard student. Post 26/11, tourism was badly hit, but incidents like these will help Mumbai regain the confidence of tourists. Khan should be honoured by Mumbaikars.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0
Honest people like Khan keep the spirit of Mumbai alive. The Harvard student Naushad Rizwanullah, whose belongings were returned by the taxi driver, should help poor Khan. His holiday would have turned into a nightmare had it not been for Khan.
Khan is a true Mumbaikar and his honesty reflects the spirit of Mumbai. Mumbaikars are always ready to give a helping hand to those in need.

Kudos to Mushtaq Ahmed Khan for returning the valuables of his passenger. People like Mushtaq do what is right without expecting any reward in return. However, I do hope the man is rewarded in some way. Acts of honesty though rare, are heart warming. MiD DAY should publish more such stories that will encourage to common man to do the right thing.u00a0u00a0u00a0
Incidents like these are rare, but they reflect on the spirit of Mumbai that cannot be matched by any other city.
Good deeds always pay. Time and again we have seen that honest people stand out among the corrupt few. The cabbie will also be rewarded for his sincerity.
